Gaspard Tanguay Labrosse

The young pianist Gaspard Tanguay ‐ Labrosse holds a Master in Music Performance from the University of Montreal, where he studied with Jean Saulnier and Marc Durand. In the fall of 2004, he won Third Prize at the Julia Crane International Piano Competition at SUNY Potsdam. Over the years, He has distinguished himself at several competitions across Canada. In the spring of 2009, Gaspard recorded a demo CD for Radio ‐ Canada with his brother Hubert, who is a clarinettist. Together, they have given recitals in Orford, Yellowknife and Toronto. In December 2010, Gaspard was guest soloist with the Philharmonie Jeunesse de Montréal.
