Join Musique Royale and the child-friendly Cookie Concert series for Oak Island Treasure, a lively family musical filled with mystery, humour, history and adventure! Inspired by Nova Scotia’s legendary Oak Island mystery, the story follows two teenagers who are magically transported back to 1795, where they encounter a whimsical scientist, French royalty and a very comical pirate on their search for hidden treasure.
About the Show
Go back in time and discover Oak Island Treasure together - or walk the plank, mateys! Arrrrr! - Teens Daniel and Peggy find themselves inside a whale of a tale - all while hunting the mysterious Oak Island Treasure of Nova Scotia. The eccentric scientist, the swash-buckling pirate and the Lady of French Aristocracy meet up with Daniel and Peggy along their way, so hoist your sails for laughter and ‘not always fair’ seas!
You will be enchanted by the rich musical score, vibrant sets and costumes and an outrageously talented cast of actors, singers and musicians. Written and composed by Music Nova Scotia Award nominees (Children’s Artist of the Year 2021), Vladimir Sitnikov and Cheryl Edgett. Original soundtrack recorded at FMP Matrix by ECMA Award-winning recording engineer, Scott Ferguson.
