About the Artists

Geoff Arsenault – drummer, singer, songwriter

Geoff Arsenault is a multi award winning, veteran, touring and recording artist. Based in the East of Canada, his unique style and skill behind the drum kit has taken him clear across North America, all through Europe, and the UK.

He has three ‘solo recordings’ to his name; This Ain’t No Fiction [2006], Voodoo Baby Rattle [2011]… and his brand new 2025 release: Hired Hand.

Geoff’s music sits somewhere between ‘Tony Joe White and ‘J.J. Cale’ – a real swampy, blues roots music style, tinged with a pinch of Tex-Mex, and a dash of New Orleans blues.

One of the most sought after drummers both in studio, and live on stage, he has recorded and performed with Dutch Mason, T-Bone Burnett, Super Chicken, Ray Bonneville, Bill Stevenson, Matt Andersen, Amy Helm, Michael Kaeshammer, Alejandro Escavedo, Mary Gauthier, David Myles, Rita MacNeil, Morgan Davis, Dr.Lonnie Smith, Colin Linden, Carlos del Junco, Jimmy Rankin, Rose Cousins, Slick Berringer, Tift Merritt, Mary Jane Lamond, and Bob Shneider.

Glenn Patscha – keys

Born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1970, Glenn Patscha relocated to New Orleans in 1989 to study piano with Ellis Marsalis and Harold Battiste at The University Of New Orleans. He went on to play and record with many New Orleans icons young and old such as Earl Palmer, Victor Goines, Danny Barker, Brian Blade, Nicholas Payton, Jeremy Davenport and Leroy Jones.

In 1998, a recording and touring stint with Marianne Faithfull reignited an interest in composing and songwriting. After moving to New York City in 1998, Patscha co-founded the critically acclaimed band Ollabelle. T Bone Burnett signed the band to his Columbia Records imprint DMZ in 2003.

When living in New York he recorded and performed with Levon Helm, Sheryl Crow, Bettye Lavette, Gregory Porter, The Holmes Brothers, Cubanismo, Madeline Peyroux, Roger Waters, Lizz Wright, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson and Loudon Wainwright among many others. He has also scored the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning film “Sangre De Mi Sangre” with Brian Cullman, award winning Finnish Film “Kukkulan Kuningas - On Thin Ice“ and a number of short films by photographer Mary Ellen Mark and Documentarian Martin Bell.

Patscha currently tours and records with Bonnie Raitt. He played keyboards and sang on her Grammy-winning album “Just Like That.” He has also produced recordings for The Holmes Brothers, Geoff Arsenault and Marc Cohn. Since 2016, Patscha has lived on the south shore of Nova Scotia.
