Join Musique Royale in the calm setting of St. John’s Anglican Church Hall for an immersive evening of sound bath meditations led by Halifax-based duo Rezound. Known for their unique blend of chant and drone, improvised harmonies, and the use of found objects and percussion, layered with looping, delay, and other electronics, Rezound creates a deeply atmospheric and meditative experience that invites stillness, reflection, and inner resonance. Please bring a yoga mat and comfortable clothes to lie down in. Rezound has been offering these hourlong meditation experiences in Halifax in recent years and Musique Royale is delighted to offer this evening sound bath for our Lunenburg audiences on Friday May 23 at 8 pm.

About the Artists

Kjipuktuk/Halifax-based duo Rezound uses chant & drone, improvised harmonization, found objects and percussion processed through looping, delay and other electronics to create immersive sound baths. The duo features Simon Blake and Ryan Veltmeyer.
