Musique Royale invites you to “South Shore Soulin’”, featuring singer and guitarist Ken Voita, Glenn Patscha on keys; drummer Henk Fisher and bassist Nic D’Amato. Join us at the Lunenburg School of the Arts (6 Prince St) on Tuesday December 16 at 7 pm for warm music and dancing at this cozy mid-December show.

About the Artists

Fronting the band is country singer and guitarist Ken Voita, whose mesmerizing voice leads the band of seasoned musicians, all of whom are favourites across the south shore. On keyboards is Glenn Patscha, the Canadian-born pianist who studied in New Orleans under Ellis Marsalis and has performed and recorded with major artists including Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Levon Helm, Brian Blade, and Nicholas Payton. On bass is Nicholas D’Amato, a veteran of the New York City music scene who toured for years with Lizz Wright and now performs internationally while teaching at Acadia University. On drums and percussion is Henk Fisher, originally from Hartford, Connecticut, now based in Lunenburg, NS, whose background spans choral singing, jazz and classical drumming, and regular performances throughout the region.
